Pre-Order and Back-Order Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

1.1 Back-Order
A "Back-Order" refers to an order placed for a product that is currently out of stock at MobileHQ but has already been ordered from our supplier and is in transit to our warehouse. An estimated time of arrival (ETA) to our facility will be provided at the time of purchase. Delivery to the customer will follow the product's arrival and will be subject to the shipping method selected at checkout.

1.2 Pre-Order
A "Pre-Order" refers to an order placed for a product that is not currently in stock and has not yet been ordered from the supplier. This may occur due to regular procurement scheduling or because the product is offered exclusively on a pre-order basis. Fulfilment of Pre-Orders is generally expected within fourteen (14) business days from the date of order placement; however, this timeframe is indicative only and not guaranteed.


2. Delivery Timeframes

2.1 MobileHQ will make reasonable efforts to fulfil all Pre-Orders and Back-Orders within approximately fourteen (14) business days of the order date. This estimated timeframe may vary based on supplier performance, shipping delays, customs clearance, or other factors beyond our control.

2.2 Where practicable, customers will be informed of any delays that may affect the standard delivery timeframe.


3. Right to Cancel

3.1 MobileHQ reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel any Pre-Order or Back-Order for any reason, including but not limited to supplier discontinuation, inventory errors, or pricing discrepancies.

3.2 In the event of cancellation, affected customers will be notified promptly. Any funds paid in respect of the cancelled order will be refunded in full. MobileHQ shall not be held liable for any consequential, indirect, or incidental loss or damage arising from such cancellation.


4. Freight and Shipping Charges

4.1 Freight charges will be applied based on the shipping method selected by the customer at checkout.

4.2 Customers may choose one of the following fulfilment options at the time of order:

  • Single Shipment Option: If the customer opts to wait until all items in the order are in stock before dispatch, a single freight charge will apply.

  • Split Shipment Option: If the customer elects to have available items shipped immediately and back-ordered/pre-ordered items shipped separately upon arrival, an additional freight charge will apply. In this case, total freight will be charged at twice the selected rate (i.e., the selected postage rate multiplied by two).

4.3 MobileHQ is not liable for any delay, loss, or damage once the goods have been handed to the carrier for delivery. Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon dispatch.
